Twelve Injured In Hackney Nightclub Acid Attack
At least 12 people suffered burns after a man sprayed acid inside a club in east London.
Hundreds of revellers were evacuated from Mangle E8 in Sidworth Street, Dalston, after police were called at about 01:10 BST.
Officers believe a man threw acid at two men after a dispute between two groups inside the venue. Two men in their 20s remain in a serious but stable condition in hospital. Ten other people were were treated for minor injuries, the Metropolitan Police said.

British Woman Stabbed To Death In Jerusalem
A 23-year-old British woman has been stabbed to death in Jerusalem, police have said.
The tourist was repeatedly stabbed while she travelled on a tram in Tzahal Square, which was packed with people celebrating Good Friday and Passover. She was taken to hospital but died from her injuries soon afterwards.
Israel's Shin Bet domestic security service have identified 57-year-old Palestinian Gamil Tamimi as her attacker. He was arrested at the scene.
Police say Mr Tamimi, a resident of Ras al-Amud in east Jerusalem, was recently released from a psychiatric hospital.

Powerful US Bomb Kills At Least 36 IS Militants In Afghanistan
A US military strike with a weapon known as the "mother of all bombs", or MOAB, killed 36 Islamic State (IS) group militants and destroyed their base, the Afghan defence ministry says.
The most powerful non-nuclear bomb ever used by the US in combat was dropped on IS tunnels in Nangarhar province. No civilians were affected by the explosion, the ministry said.
The US military said the bomb was used purely on tactical grounds, "the right weapon against the right target".
A statement on the IS-supporting Amaq news agency denied there were any IS casualties in the bomb strike.

Plot To Attack UK & US Embassies In Nigeria Thwarted
Nigeria's spy agency says it thwarted a plot by militant Islamist group Boko Haram to attack the UK and US embassies in the capital Abuja.
Six people were arrested last month in connection with the plot, the Department of State Services (DSS) added. There has been no independent confirmation of the agency's claim.
Boko Haram, which is linked to the Islamic State group, has carried out an insurgency in Nigeria since 2009.
At least 21 people were killed when it carried out a car bomb attack on the UN headquarters in Abuja in 2011.

President Bashar-al Assad Claims Chemical Attacks Were False
Syria's President Bashar-al Assad says reports of a chemical attack by his forces were "100% fabrication".
In an exclusive video interview with Agence France-Presse, he said "there was no order to make any attack".
More than 80 people were killed in the rebel-held town of Khan Sheikhoun on 4 April, and hundreds suffered symptoms consistent with a nerve agent. Bombing In Diyarbakir Turkey Was Terror Attack
A big explosion in the Turkish city of Diyarbakir which originally appeared to be an accident was actually the result of a terror attack, the interior minister says.
Suleyman Soylu told Turkish TV that explosives had been planted in a tunnel dug beneath the police headquarters.
Three people died in Tuesday's blast in the mainly Kurdish south-eastern city. No-one has claimed responsibility, but Kurdish militants have carried out previous similar attacks.
Turkey is also four days away from a key referendum on granting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sweeping new powers.

German Football Team Bus Attack Possibly Linked To Islamic Extremist
German police are investigating a possible Islamic extremist link to the bombing of the Borussia Dortmund football team's bus, German media say.
A letter found near the scene cites the Berlin Christmas market attack and military operations in Syria. It is not yet clear if the letter is genuine.
Meanwhile, German federal prosecutors, who normally lead investigations related to terrrorism, are taking over the probe.

Spanish Police Arrest Russian Over Large Scale Hacking
Spanish police have arrested a Russian programmer following US allegations of large-scale hacking.
Pyotr Levashov was held in Barcelona on Friday and is remanded in custody.
Spanish police said Mr Levashov controlled a botnet called Kelihos, hacking information and installing malicious software in hundreds of thousands of computers.
The arrest was part of a "complex inquiry carried out in collaboration with the FBI", police said.

Sweden Holds Minute's Silence For Victims Of Truck Attack
Sweden's prime minister has told the families of the victims of Friday's truck attack they are not alone, after the country held a minute of silence.
Stefan Lofven said all of Sweden's thoughts were with them following a ceremony outside Stockholm City Hall, also attended by the mayor and most of the Swedish royal family. Four people died and 15 were injured when a hijacked truck was driven into a department store in central Stockholm.
An Uzbek man, 39, is the main suspect.
