Manchester Attack: First Victims Named
Twenty-two people, including an eight-year-old girl, were killed and 59 injured when a suicide bomber attacked concert-goers at Manchester Arena.
A man set off a bomb in the foyer at 22:33 BST on Monday, at the end of a concert by Ariana Grande. Theresa May called the attack "sickening".
Armed police have arrested a 23-year-old man in Chorlton, south Manchester, in connection with the attack.
The Queen held a minute's silence at Buckingham Palace at 16:00 BST.

Manchester Attack Leaves 22 Dead And Many Injured
Twenty-two people, including children, have been killed and 59 injured in a suicide attack at Manchester Arena.
The blast happened at 22:35 BST on Monday at the end of a concert by US singer Ariana Grande.
Police said the lone male attacker, who died in the blast, detonated an improvised explosive device.
Relatives are using social media to hunt for missing loved ones, and an emergency number, 0161 856 9400, has been set up. Sixty ambulances attended the incident and those wounded are now being treated at six hospitals around the city.

Security Tight As President Trump Lands In Israel
Donald Trump has arrived in Israel as he continues his first foreign trip as US president.
He flew in from Saudi Arabia, a key US ally, where he gave a speech to Arab and Muslim leaders at a summit. Mr Trump will hold talks with both Israeli and Palestinian leaders during the course of his two-day stop.

Airbase Attack In Libya Kills Over 100
Reports suggest as many as 140 people, including civilians, may have died in an attack on an airbase in Libya.
It was originally thought 60 people died when a government-allied militia tried to take over the Brak al-Shati base on Thursday.
The UN-backed government's defence minister and the commander of the militia have both been suspended pending an investigation.
The prime minister's office has denied ordering the attack.

Over 20 People Killed In Thailand Bomb Blast
More than 20 people have been injured in a small bomb blast at a military hospital in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
The explosion happened at Phramongkutklao Hospital, which is used by serving and retired members of the military and their families. It took place on the third anniversary of the 2014 coup which brought the military government to power.

Head Of UN's Counter-Terrorism Warns Laptop Bombs Only A Matter Of Time
The head of the UN's counter-terrorism committee has warned it is a question of "when, not if" terrorists use laptops to smuggle bombs on to planes.
Jean-Paul Laborde spoke to reporters after officials decided not to ban laptops from aircraft cabins on flights to the US from EU countries. Such a ban currently applies to flights from eight other countries.
Mr Laborde also said Islamic State (IS) fighters returning to Europe would be "more dangerous" than previous waves.

Radicalised Bin Man Jailed For 5 Years, Four Months
A Wrexham binman who researched bomb attacks on UK military targets and Downing Street security has been jailed for five years and four months.
Aabid Ali - known as Darren Glennon before he converted to Islam - told his wife he wanted to bomb an RAF base. He was arrested in November after radicalisation concerns were raised and pleaded guilty to a number of offences.
The judge at Manchester Crown Court said Ali "plainly intended to encourage terrorism". The court heard that Ali's wife worked at an army barracks.

More Than 50 Killed By IS In Syria
More than 50 people are reported to have been killed in heavy fighting in Syria after so-called Islamic State launched an attack in Hama province.
The militants targeted villages under government control, and clashed with the army and its militia allies.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said at least 15 of the dead were civilians. The fighting is near a strategically important highway linking Hama city with the Aleppo area further north. Execution Of Indian Spy Blocked By Top UN Court
A top UN court has ordered Pakistan not to execute a former Indian navy officer convicted on charges of spying until it has had time to hear a case brought by India. India has argued in the International Court of Justice that Pakistan violated international laws by not allowing it access to Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav.
Mr Jadhav was arrested in Balochistan in March 2016 and convicted last month. India denies Mr Jadhav is a spy, and Pakistan denies kidnapping him.
